MINE ON LINE SERVICE, REDUCE WASTE ROCK DILUTION AND ORE LOSS – EPISODE 16

Autosampler

Episode 16: Ilpo Auranen, Chairman of IMA Engineering and CEO of Mine On-Line Service

MOLS is a company specialized in analyzing drill cores for real-time information on ore grade and location with the main objective of reducing the time used for exploration, reducing waste rock dilution and ore loss in mine production. The systems include drill core analysis technology and service, a drill chip sampling system, and load mapping and 3D blastfield modelling.

Ilpo tells us about:

-Scanmobile Laboratory for  drill core analysis
Autosampler, automated physical chip sampling from RC and blasthole drills
-Sampler robot
-Blast movement monitors

Listen to Podcast 15 where Ilpo discusses an associated company, IMA Engineering. IMA sensors collect real-time geo-metallurgical and ore grade data during production from drill cores, drill cuttings and ore on conveyor belt or loader bucket before the material enters the processing mill, concentrator or waste rock area.
